Abstract

En la presente se da a conocer un método para identificar anticuerpos atípicos en procesos de fabricación de sangre o productos sanguíneos que pueden producir falsos positivos en pruebas de control de calidad en productos intermedios o finales. Reivindicación 1: Método para identificar anticuerpos reactivos atípicos en un proceso de fabricación de productos sanguíneos, comprendiendo el método: (a) obtener una muestra de sangre o plasma; (b) analizar la muestra y un control utilizando alguno o más de uno entre aglutinación celular; microscopia de fluorescencia, inmunoprecipitación, inmunodifusión, inmunofluorescencia, ELISA, citometría de flujo, FACS o transferencia Western; (c) comparar los resultados de la muestra y la prueba de control; (d) determinar si la muestra contiene anticuerpos atípicos reactivos, y; (e) interceptar una unidad de sangre o plasma que era la fuente de la muestra si la muestra contiene anticuerpos atípicos reactivos.
