Abstract

Un producto de bicarbonato de sodio comprende partículas que contienen bicarbonato de sodio y un material orgánico que es sólido a temperatura ambiente. Las partículas tienen una estructura compuesta de cristalitas de bicarbonato de sodio individuales unidas entre sí en la partícula. Más del 95% en volumen de las partículas tienen un tamaño de menos de 200 mm. Hay partículas del producto que son huecas y están formadas de una cubierta externa de las cristalitas. El producto puede ser utilizado, por ejemplo, como agente leudante en la producción de alimentos cocidos. El producto puede elaborarse secando por atomización una solución o suspensión espesa de material orgánico disuelto y bicarbonato de sodio disuelto. El bicarbonato de sodio puede estar presente en forma de suspensión.
