  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines besonders zur Bereitung von Farblacken geeigneten
Disazofarbstoffes. 



   Durch Kondensation von Formaldehyd mit Paraxylidin entsteht ein Diamidodixylylmethan, welches, diazotiert und mit R-Salz kombiniert, einen Disazofarbstoff liefert, der, wie gefunden wurde, sich in hervorragender Weise zur Fabrikation von Farblacken eignet. Der Farbstoff lässt sich nach den üblichen   Methoden   leicht und vollständig wasserecht auf Substrate fixieren und ergibt Lacke, die sich durch eine ganz hervorragend schöne   blaurote Nuance von grosser Klarheit   und Brillanz auszeichnen. 



   Zur Darstellung des Farbstoffes verfährt   man   so, dass man   2f)'-t/ Diamidodixylyl-   methan unter Anwendung von GO kg konzentrierter Salzsäure und 13-8   keg nitrit   diazotiert und dann in eine Lösung von 70 kg R-Salz mit 40 kg kalzinierter Soda einlaufen lässt. 



  Der Farbstoff wird in üblicher Weise fertig gemacht. Zur Erzeugung eines Lackes aus diesem Farbstoffe verfährt man beispielsweise wie folgt :

Disazo dye.
