Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen rinnenförmigen Betonstein für Gartenbauzwecke. Fig. l der Zeichnung zeigt einen unter der Bezeichnung"Karlsruher Gartenstein"im Gartenbau viel verwendeten Betonstein. Er ist rinnenförmig, hat eine Basis-2-und zwei Schenkel--3 und 3'--. Es hat sich nun herausgestellt, dass die scharfen Kanten und Ecken dieses Steines, wenn er beispielsweise auf Kinderspielplätzen aufgestellt wird, bei Unfällen Schnittwunden hervorrufen.
