Gemäss der vorliegenden Erfindung wird dieser Nachteil dadurch vermieden, * dass um den die Funkenstrecke isolierenden Glas-oder sonstigen Körper herum eine mit 01 gefüllte Rinne vorgesehen ist, die jeden Feuchtigkeitsniederschlag wirksam unterbricht und so das Auftreten eines Nebenschlusses verhindert.
Auf der Zeichnung ist eine derartige Patrone beispielsweise dargestellt.
Der die Blitzschutzvorrichtung e enthaltende Glaskörper a ist in bekannter Weise an beiden Enden mit Anschlusskappen c und d versehen, von denen die eine, d, derart trichterförmig ausgebildet ist, dass eine den Glaskörper a umgebende Rinne b entsteht. In diese Rinne wird etwas 01 eingebracht und auf diese Weise die gewünschte Isolation erreicht.
