Vorliegende Erfindung erstreckt sich auf eine neuartige Ausgestaltung einer Verkleidungsleiste zum Schutze einspringender Ecken der Räumlichkeiten von Gebäuden.
Bekanntlich wurde der Abschluss zwischen dem Parkettboden P und der Mauer J bis jetzt gewöhnlich mit einer Holzleiste,"Sesselleisto"hergestellt. Diese Leiste hat jedoch, wie sich gezeigt hat, weder die verlangte Festigkeit, noch bildet sie den entsprechenden Abschluss der einspringenden Ecken in Hinsicht auf dekorative Wirkung.
Gemäss vorliegender Erfindung wird nun eine weiche Kernmasse a mit einer harten, widerstandsfähigen Masse b überzogen. Die harte Masse b, gewöhnlich Metall, bildet einen entsprechenden Schutz für die Masse a und kann so ausgestaltet werden, dass sie sowohl mit der Farbe der einspringenden Ecken harmoniert als auch eine erhöhte orna- mentalische Wirkung erzielt. Letzteres wird gewöhnlich dadurch erreicht, dass der metallische Überzug b mit Reliefprägungen versehen wird.
