Schwächt man, z.

EMI1.1
For electric braking of the load to be lowered on hoists whose hoist is driven by three-phase induction motors. it is known to switch the motor in the lifting direction when lowering; the brake is initially not released and the motor is switched on in the lifting direction with such a high torque that the load would be lifted with the brake released. Then the torque of the motor is gradually weakened by switching on resistance in the rotor circuit until the load torque prevails. According to the invention, a freewheel is now switched on between the winch and the brake disc, which allows a small rotation between these two parts; As a result, as soon as the load torque predominates, the load moves by a distance corresponding to the angle of rotation.
During this freewheeling movement, a towing bracket is influenced, which is in the circuit of the brake release magnet and switches it on, so that the load now drops at the lowest speed. If one weakens e.g. B. by further switching on the rotor resistance, the torque of the motor continues, the load decreases accordingly faster.
The exemplary embodiment shown schematically in the drawing serves to explain the invention. In it, a is the lifting motor with the rotor resistance b and the stator switch e. In order to lower the load d, the motor a in the lifting direction u. between initially switched on with its greatest torque. while the brake e remains applied; even if the switch t is closed, the brake release magnet g is still de-energized as long as the contacts h, i of the drag switch n are open. The resistance b in the rotor circuit of the motor a is now gradually increased so that the motor torque decreases in the direction of the stroke. If the moment comes when the load torque predominates, the motor shaft becomes

of the brake release magnet g, which now releases the load shaft.
If the load shaft continues to rotate in the same direction, drag switch n stops. The switches c and t and the contacts of the
Rotor resistance b are practically combined in a known manner in a shift drum.
