  Procédé d'extraction de matières nutritives des herbacées em- ployées comme matières premières pour la fabrication de pâtes à papier et de produits similaires. 



   Suivant le brevet n .   336.955   les matières premières, consistant en graminées sèches, roseaux et plantes analo- gues en ballots comprimés, sont exposées à l'action de la va- peur saturée à une pression telle et pendant une durée suffi- sante pour permettre la séparation des constituants liquides et solides. Les matières solides obtenues sont réduites en pâte et celle-ci est comprimée pour en extraire le plus possi- ble de liquide. La pâte est utilisée pour la fabrication de papier ou pour des usages analogues et le liquide est utilisé pour la nourriture du bétail ou pour divers autres usages.

 suivant une modification du procédé ci-dessus, on ne sépare pas le liquide de la matière défibrée obtenue par le traitement à la vapeur et on l'utilise directement pour la nourriture du bétail.

   Les substances nutritives qu'elle con- tient se présentent sous une forme très-aisément digestible et on peut en faire des gâteaux ou tourteaux ou s'en servir pour la préparation de nourriture pour le bétail en mélange avec d'autres substances.

  1. REVENDICATION Procédé suivant le brevet principal n .336.955 caracté- risé en ce que la matière défibrée obtenue par le traitement à la vapeur des graminées, pailles, roseaux etc. en ballots comprimés est utilisée directement pour la nourriture du bétail.
