Mold for injection molding
The present invention relates to a mold for injection molding, particularly for injection lining bearings. Its advantage over known molds lies in the simplicity and speed of the manipulations for placing the pad to be filled by injection in the mold and unmolding the finished pad, as well as in the possibility of using it for pads of different dimensions. .
The appended drawing shows by way of example one embodiment of the invention.
The nozzle a of an injection molding machine

enters the conical tap hole b of a vertically arranged casting plate c. To this is fixed a half-ring g1 which has a hole n coinciding with the hole in the casting plate against which can move another half-ring g fixed on a support i. The two half-rings g and gl together form a sealing piece g, gl which has a circular groove o and a cylindrical hole p. In this hole is disposed a cylindrical core e, the upper end of which engages in an annular head g2 fixed to a support 11 which can move vertically.
The bearing d to be filled is placed on the sealing piece ± ,, Si, concentrically with the cylindrical core e, and the half-ring g is pressed against the half-ring g1 of the casting plate c . in any suitable manner, for example by means of a hand lever k acting via an eccentric m. Then the head g2 is pressed downwards, also in any suitable manner, for example by means of a hand lever kl and an eccentric ml. In this way the bushing is closed towards the inside and at its ends, and it is possible to proceed with the injection of the packing metal through the nozzle a and the hole n.
Immediately after the solidification of the packing metal, the mold can be opened by pulling back the hand levers k and k1 and remove the cushion fitted with its packing.
