"CHANGEMENT DR VITESSE"

La présente invention a pour objet un changement de vites- se à engrenages, dans lequel lesinconvénients signalés sont évités. Le dessin le montre an un exemple d'exécution;
La fig.2 montre schématiquement le chagement de vitesse avec des embrayages débrayés;

"DR SPEED CHANGE"
In transport installations, a changing of gears is frequently fitted in the control of the cable drum, in order to obtain, with the low speed of the motor, two different speeds of the cable This is obviously a question of 'heavy gears. Reversing or changing from one gear to another is usually effected on a countershaft by moving wheels or by switching on and off disengageable clutches. The speed changes of this kind known hitherto have the disadvantage that a heavy pigeon lying on the countershaft turns temporarily in idle at a speed different from that of the shaft.
As the bearings of the pigeon cannot in this case be of metal with the usual bearings and, moreover, the lubrication can only be carried out in an imperfect manner, considerable friction losses and high friction result. heavy wear. The consequence which results from it among others, is a little sar seat of the pawn on the tree and,

as a result of poor meshing conditions of the teeth.
The object of the present invention is a change of speed with gears, in which the noted drawbacks are avoided. The drawing shows it as an example of execution;
Fig. 1 is an elevational view of the gear change (the housing is omitted), the motor shaft being coupled directly with the driven shaft.
Fig. 2 schematically shows the gear change with disengaged clutches;
Fig. 3 shows it with the gear engaged.
Wheel 2 is wedged on the motor shaft. The shaft is supported on both sides in a casing not shown, and it carries at its free end the plate 3 of a disengageable claw clutch. Likewise, the command shaft 4 is provided with the wheel 5 and the clutch plate -6 which can be moved on the free end of the shaft. The wheels 2 and 5 are in permanent engagement with the idler wheels 7 and 11 which are wedged on the idler shafts $ and 10 mounted separately and whose neighboring ends also carry a disengageable clutch 9,12.
The two clutches are actuated simultaneously by a lever 13 which pivots about a fixed axis 14.
The device described allows three different positions of transmission. Fig. 1 shows the speed change with direct coupling of the motor shaft and the driven shaft, while the two idler wheels with their shafts rotate at no load at different speeds. In the idling position shown in fig. 2, the two clutches are disengaged, while in fig. 3 the clutch 9,12 is engaged so that the force communicated to the motor shaft 1 is transmitted by the return to the shaft 4. The idling position fig.2 allows easy rotation of the motor, which is necessary for the engagement of the claw clutches.
