  FAISCEAU VAPORISATEUR

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 3>

  VAPORIZER BEAM
The present invention relates to a vaporizer bundle suitable in particular for boilers with a closed primary circuit, that is to say for boilers with indirect heating.

  The originality of this vaporizer bundle lies in the fact that each of its elements is formed of two tubes placed one inside the other so as to leave between them an annular space which will be traversed by the heating fluid or primary fluid, these elements being bathed by the fluid to be vaporized with which they are, consequently, in contact both by their internal wall and by their external wall. In addition, these elements are arranged so as to impose an active circulation movement and vortex on the secondary fluid or fluid, vaporize, or at least to promote such a movement, which is conducive to the renewal of the contact surfaces and to exchanges. heat.

   Preferably, this condition is achieved by the arrangement in steps of the ends of the annular parts of the elements, an arrangement which is advantageously combined with an inclination of said annular parts in an appropriate direction; this inclination, in fact, at the same time as it favors the circulation of the secondary fluid, is favorable to the release of the vapor produced.

   The following description, with reference to the appended drawing, given by way of example, will make it clear what

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

 way the invention can be realized.

   In this drawing, FIG. 1 is the longitudinal axial section through a cylindrical body of a closed primary circuit boiler, provided with a vaporizer bundle produced in accordance with the invention.

   Fig. 2 is a cross section taken on line II-II of FIG. 1.

   Fig 3 is a cross section on a larger scale of an annular element taken by line III-III of FIG. 1.

   The heating auxiliary fluid or primary fluid, for example water vapor, is brought to the inlet manifold 1 by any pipe 2; in the case of the drawings, the collector 1 is provided in one of the bases 3 of the cylindrical body 4 containing the fluid to be vaporized and the vaporizer bundle; any other arrangement can naturally be adopted.

   The vaporizer bundle is formed by tubular elements 5 of annular section each formed of two concentric tubes 6 and 7 assembled together at their ends.

   Each element 5 is connected by one of its ends to the manifold 1 by means of a tube 8.

   The other end of each element 5 is connected in a similar fashion by means of a tube 9 to a manifold 10 in which the condensed primary fluid collects.

   A suitable slope is given to the elements 5 so that the primary fluid which condenses flows easily and rapidly towards the collector 10, to be then discharged by a pipe 11 passing through at 12 the wall of the cylindrical body 4 and also so that the vapor secondary fluid which forms in the cavity of the elements 5 rises easily.

   A particularly favorable arrangement is that shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 ; these, each row ho-

 Rizontal of elements 5 has its annular portion shorter than that of the row below it and the ends of the first are both set back from those of the second.

   In this way, the space available between the upper ends of the elements and the bottom of the cylindrical body 4 increases from bottom to top, as the proportion of vapor of the heated fluid increases; likewise, on the opposite side, the free space between the tubes 9 decreases from top to bottom as the quantity of secondary liquid decreases which, called by the upward movement of the mixture of liquid and vapor of the same nature at the center of the elements annular 5, descends from the surface to restart its circuit along the exchange walls of the vaporizer bundle.

   Under these two combined actions: on the one hand, ascent of the secondary mixture (liquid and vapor) in the center of the elements 5 and between the connecting tubes 8, on the other hand, descending between the connecting tubes 9 of the fluid called up by the heating and vaporizing action of the elements 5, a continuous circulation is established in a well-defined direction, which is favorable to heat exchange and to the efficiency of the apparatus.

   The secondary fluid to be vaporized is brought into the flask 4 via a pipe 13.

   The steam will be taken, preferably, above the connection tubes 9, where the level is the lowest due to the energetic demand for auxiliary liquid which always takes place in this region, thus obtaining a steam as well. dry as possible.

   It is understood that modifications can be made to the embodiment which has just been described without departing from the scope of the invention.
