"EMBOUTIE BUSHING AND ITS MANUFACTURING PROCESS".

The object of the present patent is to obtain shell caps by stamping or similar operations, as well as the proper process.

The subject of the present patent is, in addition to the new industrial product oonsistant in an ambushed shell cover, but also the process aimed at obtaining it in the envisaged embodiment.

Among the great advantages obtained with the shell cap produced in accordance with the present patent, it is necessary to cite the economy of material and the regularity of manufacture which is always the same once the prototype has been established. From the point of view of the economy of
 EMI1.1
\ eViOW this can amount to 1/10 / of the necessary weight by making use of the mechanical operations hitherto employed for this manufacture, such as turning operations.

In order to bring out the above statement more clearly, the appended drawings represent:

In fig.I, 2, 3, 4, the various stamping phases make it possible to present the cap to the final operation, shown schematically in section in fig.5.

Fig. 6 shows an exterior view of the completed shell cover.

Referring to fig. I to 4, 1 shows the shell cap, taken from a sheet metal disc or blank as shown in fig.I. By various cold stamping phases we arrive at the shape shown in fig.4.

The last operation giving the final shape to the cap is carried out hot and is shown in fig.5, or! shows a fixed die, the section of which in a sectional elevation corresponds to the internal profile of the cover 1 which is placed as shown and that the mobile die 3, comprising a hollow corresponding to the final external profile of the cover 1, subsequently covers the operation obtain the final shape shown in fig.6.

It can easily be seen that depending on the profile on the one hand of the fixed punch 2 acting as a die and on the other hand that of the hollow of the mobile die 3, it is possible to obtain the desired final profile of the shell cover.

In summary, it should be considered as coming within the scope of the field of the present patent a shell cover characterized by the following: CLAIMS

Claims (1)

**ATTENTION** fin du champ CLMS peut contenir debut de DESC **. 2) Process for obtaining stamped shell caps, carao terized in that after cutting a blank or disc out of suitable sheet, it is subjected to cold stamping operations and then finally to an operation stamping, properly speaking hot stamping, giving it the desired definitive shape both externally and internally. ** CAUTION ** end of field CLMS may contain start of DESC **.
