 .L'un des effets de la présence de l'aluminium est qu'elle permet une augmentation de la teneur en azote pouvant être ajoutée en toute sécurité à l'alliage. Quoique   dans   la plupart des cas, une augmentation de la quantité d'azote soit désirable, dans certains cas il peut être suffisant d'employer des quantités normales d'azote tout en retenant la présence de l'aluminium. 



  Les alliages selon la présente invention peuvent être débarrassés du ferrite à la température de trempe, quoique contenant des quantités appréciables d'un ou plusieurs des Métaux molybdène, tungstène, vanadium et titane, et ont par conséquent une excel- lente résistance au'fluage c'est-à-dire pouvant avoir une résistance au fluage d'au moins 30 tonnes par pouce carré à 500 C, basée sur un effort de fluage de 0,1% en 100 heures. 



   Selon un trait caractéristique , la présente invention comprend des alliages endéans les limites ci-après, las pourcen- tages étant donnés en poids.
