Dans l'industrie chocolatière, on recherche depuis long-
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
,bandes d'arrachage.

<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
<Desc/Clms Page number 6>
<Desc/Clms Page number 7>

The present invention relates to packaging for products in tablet form, in particular for chocolate tablets.
In the chocolate industry, we have long sought
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
time a packaging for chocolate bars, which, on the one hand, opens easily and quickly and, on the other hand, does not deteriorate noticeably when opening.
The packaging most generally used today consists of a sheet of paper which wraps the tablet in such a way that the edges of the sheet are placed on the back of the tablet and that two opposite edges (generally those formed by the longitudinal parts of the shelf) fold over one another, or overlap by the parts opposite to each other. That of the two parts or folds thus formed which is on the outside is then fixed by gluing to the part located on the inside.
When opening such a package, it is therefore torn at the place of bonding, that is to say where the two folded parts are connected to each other, the outer part. - higher tearing however most often because the place of the bonding itself presents a greater resistance than the rest of the folding. It often takes several times to separate the outer part from the inner part and to fully open the package.
To avoid this difficulty, we had the idea of providing the packaging with tear strips, which allow a quick and easy opening of the packaging. However, since opening the package with the aid of a tear strip removes from the package a strip of material extending the entire length of the shelf, the package cannot be reused. if only part of its content is removed. In addition, the price of the package is appreciably increased due to the adaptation of
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
, tear strips.
; The two packaging methods described above also have the disadvantage that due to the deterioration produced when opening the packaging, it is disadvantageous to affix the back of the packaging. by appropriate application, the sticker coupons, often distributed today, because these sticker coupons are generally damaged when opened.
The present invention proposes to provide a package which avoids the aforementioned drawbacks and which can be manufactured cheaply.
The packaging according to the invention, which has two parts on the reverse side of the product. which, in the packaged state, overlap from the opposite side edges of the product, is essentially constituted by a folded part provided with a sticky surface delimited on all sides and on which this first part is connected to the second part of the fold, the limits of the sticky surface being at least in Par;,; ,, formed, by perforations, with the aim of separating the sticky surface, from said first part, by detaching it along the perforations , and free @ thus the second part of the folding.
An essential advantage of this packaging is that it allows the packaging machines and installations already in use to be used, since the wrapping of the products in tablet form can be carried out in the usual way. Further, the sheets or reams of paper used for packaging can be used in the same form as before. The package which is the subject of the present invention therefore in fact constituted a "Columbus Egg".
The invention is explained in detail in the description below.
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
after two of its embodiments applied to chocolate, with reference to the accompanying drawings.
In these drawings:
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the packaging according to a first embodiment before folding and gluing of the part of the outer ply.
Fig. 2 is a view corresponding to that of FIG. 1 after opening the packaging.
Fig. 3 shows a variant in a view corresponding to that of Figure 1.
As can be seen in Figures 1 and 2, a chocolate tablet 1, for example, surrounded by a sheet of metal is wrapped in a package 2 which, by appropriate folding of its edges, forms the back of the bag. shelf 1, two folded parts 3 and 4, part 4 being applied, when the packaging is closed, over part 3 of the folding. Said inner part 3 has a trapezoidal bonding surface 5, which is limited by lines of perforations 6, 7 and 8 and by one of its longitudinal edges. Before the folding of the outer part 4, from the position of Figure 1, to end in the closed position ,. in which its inner surface rests on the bonding surface 5, an adhesive, liquid or pasty, is applied to said surface.
By folding up part 4 of the fold, it is linked on its inner face with inner part 3 at the location of the tights surface which closes the packaging.
When it comes to opening the packaging thus described, we enter
EMI4.1
the 1 "artif folded outward 4- by an ae its free deax con3 on which one exerts a trdti..l: -l towards 113 t '.. ut. ¯ / 3 c3 f: -. it,
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
the inside folded part 3 tears first at the point of intersection of the two perforated lines 6 and 8 or 7 and
8, then by a new pull on this corner, the sticky surface 5 is separated from this folded part along the said perforated lines.
After the total separation of the sticky surface which, due to the gluing, adheres firmly to the outer folded part, the latter can be lifted up completely, so that the package is opened, as shown in figure 2.
As the described package is separated on a part which is covered by the outer folded part in its folded down position, and furthermore none of the other outer parts of the package are torn when opened, this package will - age can continue to serve when only part of the chocolate !; was taken because a complete wrap of the tablet. chocolate is still possible.
The variant shown in Figure 3 differs from the example of Figures 1 and 2 by a different shape, or delimitation of the sticky surface. In Figure 3, the sticky surface 15 is delimited, in the inner part 3 of the folding, by a double perforated line 16 parallel to the longt @ dianal edge of the tablet 1 then by two semi-circular perforations 17 attached thereto, as well as by the free longitudinal edge of Part 3, said sticky surface therefore having the shape of an oval. In the outer part 3 of the fold, a rectangular surface 18 is delimited by a perforated line 19; this surface bearing on the outer face of part 4, a printed voucher not shown in the drawing.
The perforation 19 allows
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
easily remove this oon from the packaging, separating the surface 18 from the folded part 4.
The closed package opens in the same manner as that shown in Figures 1 and 2. However, the double perforated line 16 has the advantage of facilitating the tear of the package along the perforated line. On the other hand, the resistance of the perforation is sufficient to prevent its tearing when the packaging is closed or during transport of the goods.
The outer part 4 of the fold may bear on its outer face a printed indication indicating where it should be gripped or pulled; so that the package can be opened practically quickly and in the simple manner which has been described.
If a voucher has been printed on the aforementioned outside face ,. there is no risk of it being damaged when opening the packaging.
It is obvious that it would also be possible to limit the adjacent surface on all sides by perforated lines and to arrange the latter in the form of relatively narrow strips spaced from the corresponding longitudinal edge of the interior part of the fold.
Instead of being provided on the inside surface of the fold, the sticky surface delimited by perforated lines can also be placed on the outside folded part and, in this case, preferably on the free longitudinal edge of the latter. For example, the sticky surface could have the shape of a segment of a circle whose arc would be formed
<Desc / Clms Page number 7>
by the perforated line and the cord By the free longitudinal edge of the outer folded part.
In the variant described in the last place., The packaging can be opened by pulling upwards. on one of the two free corners of the outer part of the fold. the sticky surface being, in this case, detached from the outer folded part along the line of perforatie @ and adhering to the inner part of the fold.
It is obvious that the packaging described can also be used for other products sold in the form of tablets, such as for example butters or fats.
