<Desc/Clms Page number 1> Le brevet principal n 553.070 décrit un procédé de produc- tion de noir de carbone et de gaz utiles, comme sous-produits, procédé caractérisé en ce qu'on' brille un hydrocarbure dans un four dans des conditions de combustion incomplète pour produire du noir de carbone en suspension à l'état d'aérosol dans des gaz com- bustibles obtenus comme sous-produits, on refroidit brusquement l'aérosol à une température de 816 C au moins., uniquement par échange indirect de chaleur, et on sépare le noir de carbone des gaz. Le présent perfectionnement est basé sur la constatation qu'il n'est pas nécessaire de pousser l'abaissement de la tempéra- ture des gaz à une température en dessous de 186 C au sortir du four pour obtenir le résultat cherché. <Desc/Clms Page number 2> Suivant ce perfectionnement on opère le refroidissement brusque des gaz contenant l'aérosol, en les refroidissant au sor- tir du four, par échange indirect de chaleur, jusqu'à une tem- pérature à laquelle s'arrête en substance toute réaction. Pour certains noirs de carbone, cette température peut être aussi élevée que 1200 C, mais elle peut également être inférieure à 12000C pour d'autres noirs de carbone. Claims (1)
1.- Procédé de production de noir de carbone et de gaz utiles, comme sous-produits, suivant le brevet principal n 553.070, caractérisé en ce qu'au sortir du four on refroidit brusquement l'aérosol en suspension dans les gaz,, uniquement par échange in- direct de chaleur, jusqu'à une température à laquelle s'arrête en substance toute réaction, et on sépare le noir de carbonedes gaz.,
2. - Procédé suivant la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'on refroidit brusquement l'aérosol à une température de 1200 C au moins, au sortir du four.
3.- Procédé suivant les revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'après abaissement brusque de la température ,de l'aérosol au sortir du four on lui fait subir les traitements spécifiés dans les revendications 2, 3, 4 et 5 du brevet principal.
