Pharmaceutical prepns contain >=1 triazolobenzodiazepines of formula (I): (where R1 and R2 are H, CH3 or C2H5 and R3 is H, F, Cl, Br, CN NO2, CF3 or 1-3C alkylthio) or their pharm. acceptable acid addn salts of N-oxides, opt. together with usual pharm. carriers, have antidepressant and anxiolytic activity and can be used in the treatment of depression, anxiety, and mixed anxiety/depression states such as occur with certain neuroses.
