Abstract

Une argile organophile gélifiante préactivée, qui peut etre utilisée pour épaissir des compositions organiques et spécialement des graisses lubrifiantes sans qu'un activateur polaire soit ajouté, peut etre préparée par un procédé mettant en jeu certains parametres tels qu'un cisaillement de l'argille de type smectite avant la réaction avec le cation organique, la conduite de la réaction en milieu dilué et un séchage modéré de l'argile organophile gélifiante ou de l'argile organophile gélifiante préactivée.
