Abstract

The device is designed for the performance of the aminoxide process using the dry/wet method with spinning nozzle. The nozzle has orifices for the extrusion of elementary fibres, a deivice for blowing by means of which the extruded fibres can be cooled immediately after they have left the spinning apertures, a tank with sedimentation fluid, grouping element fitted in a sedimentation bath for grouping the fibres and an air slit which is defined as a distance between the spinning nozzle and the surface of the sedimentation liquid. The grouping element is found at such distance from the spinning nozzle that angle ( ) which the elementary fibres form with the perpendicular to the surface of the sedimentation fluid is maximum 45° and the ratio 0.1 + 0.005.1 0.7.d0.(h-1) is observed, where d0 means the distance (mm) between adjacent spinning apertures of a spinning nozzle, h is the distance (mm) between the grouping element and the spinning nozzle and l is the ait slit (mm), when 04 mm d0 2 mm and 0 mm nm < 1 < 60 mm.
