Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "MéTODO DE PRODUZIR DERIVADOSDE áCIDO TIOBARBITúRICO". Método de produzir derivados deácido tiobarbitúrico de fórmula I onde R~ 1~ é SH, S^ -^ M^ +^ ouCH~ 3~S-, e M^ +^ é um íon de metal alcalino, por hidrogenálisede um composto de fórmula II onde R~ 2~ é cloro ou CH~ 3~O-,com a) um agente de hidrogenólise na presença de um solventeinerte e por uma reação direta do produto de hidrogenólise com ummetilato de metal alcalino em metanol, ou b) com um agente dehidrogenólise na presença de um solvente inerte e na presença deum reagente de metilação, e subseq³entemente com um metilatode metal alcalino em metanol, bem como o uso deste composto defórmula I na produção de7-[(4,6-dimetóxi-pirimidin-2-il)tio-3metilftaleto.
