Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "MéTODO DE SISTEMA CATALISADOR PARA PRODUçãO DE CARBONATOS AROMáTICOS". Método e sistema catalisador para produzir de forma económica carbonatos aromáticos a partir de compostos hidróxi aromáticos. Em uma modalidade, a presente invenção fornece um método de carbonilação de compostos hidróxi aromáticos contatando pelo menos um composto hidróxi aromático com oxigênio e monóxido de carbono na presença de um sistema catalisador de carbonilação que inclui uma quantidade catalítica de uma combinação de co-catalisadores inorgânicos contendo manganês e níquel; manganês e ferro; manganês e cromo; manganês e cério; manganês e európio; manganês, cério e európio; manganês, ferro e európio; ou manganês e tório. Em várias modalidades alternativas, o sistema catalisador de carbonilação pode incluir uma quantidade eficaz de uma fonte de paládio e uma quantidade eficaz de uma composição de haleto.
