Abstract
Patente de Invenção:"COMPOSIçõES DE GONADOTROPINA ALTAMENTE PURIFICADA E PROCESSOS PARA A PREPARAçãO DAS MESMAS". Processo para a purificação de gonadotropinas urinárias humanas de elevada atividade biológica e de pureza química absolutamente isenta de materiais contaminantes estranhos derivados a partir do uso de reagentes biológicos ou corantes para cromatografia, a partir de gonadotropinas em bruto. A composição de alta atividade biológica e quimicamente pura de gonadotropinas humanas obtidas por este processo são usadas para o tratamento de infertilidade e são selecionadas a partir do grupo de foliotropina ou menotropinas, que tenham uma atividade biológica maior do que 2,500 Ul/mg de proteína, como testado por análise biológica em ratos, para ambos os hormónios FSH e LH para as menotropinas, e maior do que 5.000 UI/mg de proteína para a felotropina, tendo uma proporção de FSH:LH de cerca de 75:1. Também estão compreendidas dentro da presente invenção as preparações farmacêuticas das referidas gonadotropinas isentas de tais materiais contaminantes.
