Abstract
"MOLéCULA DE áCIDO NUCLEICO ISOLADA, VETOR, CéLULA HOSPEDEIRA, POLIPEPTìDEO, PROTEìNA, E, MéTODOS PARA PRODUZIR UM POLIPEPTìDEO, PARA PRODUZIR UM PRODUTO QUìMICO FINO, E, DE DIAGNOSTICAR A PRESENçA OU ATIVIDADE DE CORYBACTERIUM DIPHOTHERIAE EM UM PACIENTE". Moléculas de ácido nucleico isoladas, designadas moléculas de ácido nucleico PTS que codificam novas proteínas PTS de Corynebacterium glutamicum são descritas. A invenção também fornece moléculas de ácido nucleico de anti-sentido, vetores de expressão recombinantes contendo moléculas de ácido nucleico PTS e células hospedeiras nas quais os vetores de expressão foram introduzidos. A invenção ainda fornece proteínas PTS isoladas, proteínas PTS mutadas, proteínas de fusão, peptídeos antigênicos e métodos para a melhoria da produção de um composto desejado a partir do C. glutamicum com base no engendramento genético de genes PTS neste organismo.
