Abstract
"CERâMICA DE ALUMINOSILICATO DE LìTIO". Um artigo de cerâmica que consiste essencialmente, por peso na base de óxido, 10-25% de SiO~ 2~,65-85% de A1~ 2~O~ 3~ e 2-12% de LiO~ 2~, e compreende beta-eucriptite como uma primeira fase tendo um componente negativo na expansão térmica e um ponto de fusão T~ m1~, e uma segunda fase tendo um componente positivo em expansão térmica que é mais alta do que o componente na expansão térmica da primeira fase e um ponto de fusão T~ m2~, no qual T~ m2~ > T~ m1~, no qual é ao menos 50% por peso da cerâmica, e no qual a cerâmica é caracterizada por micro-fratura. T~ m2~ de pelo menos 1800<198>C. O artigo de cerâmica exibe um coeficiente quase zero de temperatura ambiente a 800<198>C,uma alta capacidade de refração, e uma alta resistência às propriedades de choque que toma a cerâmica da invenção extremamente desejável em aplicações de alta temperatura, tais como filtros para motores de exaustão à diesel.
