Abstract
"CATALISADOR BIMETáLICO PARA PRODUçãO DE RESINAS DE POLIETILENO COM DISTRIBUIçãO DE PESO MOLECULAR BIMODAL, SUA PREPARAçãO E USO". Catalisador bimetálico para produzir resinas de polietileno com uma distribuição de peso molecular bimodal, sua preparação e uso. O catalisador pode ser obtido por um processo que inclui o contato de um material de suporte com um componente de organomagnésio e um componente contendo carbonila. O material de suporte assim tratado é contatado com um componente de metal de transição não-metaloceno para se obter um intermediário de catalisador, sendo este último contatado com um componente aluminoxano e um componente de metaloceno. Este catalisador pode ainda ser ativado com, por exemplo, co-catalisador de alquilalumínio e contatado sob condições de polimerização com etileno, e, opcionalmente, um ou mais comonómeros para produzir homo- ou copolímeros de etileno com uma distribuição de peso molecular bimodal e propriedades melhoradas de tumofação da resina em um reator simples. Esses polímeros de etileno são particularmente adequados para aplicações de moldagem a sopro.
