Abstract

"BEBIDA ENRIQUECIDA COM FERRO, MISTURA PARA BEBIDA EM Pó SOLúVEL, E, MéTODO PARA EVITAR OU TRATAR ANEMIA POR DEFICIêNCIA DE FERRO EM UM MAMìFERO". São proporcionadas bebidas e misturas em pó para bebidas enriquecidas com EDTA férrico como fonte de ferro. As bebidas e as misturas para bebidas enriquecidas com EDTA férrico de acordo com esta invenção possuem uma biodisponibilidade para ferro superior e uma excelente estabilidade na armazenagem. A presente invenção está direcionada também a um método para uso dessas bebidas enriquecidas com EDTA férrico para evitar ou tratar anemia por deficiência de ferro em indivíduos, pela administração da bebida enriquecida com ferro da invenção em uma quantidade eficaz a um indivíduo necessitado da mesma.
