Abstract

"SISTEMA DE DIREçãO PARA UM VEìCULO". Um sistema de direção (10) para um veículo (16) compreende um alojamento (20) tendo primeira e segunda porções terminais (32, 34) uma porção intermediária (50). Um membro de direção (66) é suportado para movimentação axial no alojamento (20). Um pistão (100) fixado para movimentação com o membro de direção (66) tem faces terminais opostas (104, 106). Primeira e segunda molas (130, 132) engatam as faces terminais (104, 106) do pistão (100) e solicitam o pistão e, desse modo, o membro de direção (66) em primeira e segunda direções axiais, em direção à posição reta à frente. A conexão de direcionamento (124, 126) conectada ao membro de pistão (100) transmite movimentação do membro de pistão (100) às rodas direcionáveis (12, 14) do veículo.
