Abstract
"PLACA DE REFRIGERAçãO, CONSTITUìDA DE COBRE OU DE UMA LIGA DE COBRE DE BAIXA LIGA, PARA FORNOS METALúRGICOS". A presente invenção se refere a uma placa de refrigeração (1, 16), constituída de cobre ou de uma liga de cobre de baixa liga, para fornos metalúrgicos dotados de uma chapa externa de blindagem (2), que apresenta pelo menos um, de preferência, pelo menos dois canais de refrigeração que percorrem o interior da placa de refrigeração (1, 16), sendo que a tubagem de refrigeração para a alimentação ou, eventualmente, o escoamento do agente de refrigeração é conduzida para fora através da chapa de blindagem do forno (2) Sobre a placa de refrigeração (1, 16) estão instalados tubos de retenção, que são dotados, do lado de fora da chapa de blindagem do forno (2), de discos de retenção que fixam a placa de refrigeração (1, 16) no sentido do interior do forno. De preferência, os tubos de retenção e os discos de retenção são fabricados em aço.
