Abstract

"MéTODO PARA RECUPERAçãO DE METAIS USANDO LIXIVIAçãO DE CLORETO E EXTRAçãO". A presente invenção se refere a um método para recuperação de metais, em particular de cobre, a partir de uma matéria-prima contendo cobre, em que o material é lixiviado em uma solução contendo cloreto. A lixiviação da matéria-prima é executada na presença de um agente oxidante e de um potencial de redox suficientemente alto e o cobre na solução de cloreto de cobre de lixiviação é principalmente divalente. A solução de cloreto obtida, que contém cobre e potencialmente outros metais valiosos, é alimentada a um estágio de extração líquido-líquido. No estágio de extração, o cobre é primeiro transferido para a fase orgânica com extração e depois para uma solução de sulfato na etapa de separação por extração, sendo alimentada para o procedimento de eletroextração de cobre.
