Abstract

"GARRA INTRAMEDULAR". A garra intramedular (1) tem A) uma extremidade distal (2) adequada para inserção no espaço medular, no qual o segmento da garra intramedular (1) que faceia a extremidade distal (2) tem um diâmetro D; B) uma extremidade proximal (3); C) um eixo geométrico longitudinal (4); e D) vários furos transversais (5) com um eixo geométrico de furo (6), cada um dos quais definindo um cilindro de perfuração virtual (8) com um eixo geométrico de cilindro (9) correspondente ao eixo geométrico de furo (6) do furo transversal (5), no qual E) os cilindros de perfuração (8) de pelo menos dois furos transversais (5) penetrando um ao outro. Os eixos geométricos de cilindro (9) dos dois cilindros de perfuração mutuamente penetrantes (8) não têm ponto de intersecção comum P no eixo geométrico longitudinal (4). Isto resulta em resistência mecânica aperfeiçoada comparado ao estado da técnica, sem qualquer necessidade que o tamanho da seção transversal da garra intramedular seja aumentado.
