Abstract

Patente de Invenção:<B>"PRODUTOS REVESTIDOS"<D>. Um produto (20, 21, 41, 60) compreendido de uma rede tridimensional de material é revestido com um suporte apropriado. O revestimento pode ser aplicado por um procedimento de revestimento eletroforético, para aplicar um revestimento particulado sobre a superfície ou nas partes internas dessa rede tridimensional de material (20, 21, 41, 60). Em uma concretização, as partículas são um catalisador ou um precursor de catalisador ou um suporte de catalisador, para assim criar uma estrutura de catalisador, na qual o catalisador pode ser suportado como um revestimento na parte interna e sobre a parte externa de uma rede tridimensional de material (20, 21, 41, 60) tendo um alto volume de vazios. Os efeitos de borda podem ser reduzidos por controle ou rompimento das linhas de campo durante o revestimento. Além disso, as partículas maiores podem ser revestidas eletroforeticamente sobre um produto (20, 21, 41, 60) por meio do uso de partículas menores que funcionam como uma "cola".
