"COMPOSIçãO FARMACêUTICA COMPREENDENDO D-CHIRO-INOSITOL PARA APERFEIçOAR SENSIBILIDADE A INSULINA E METABOLISMO DE GLICOSE" A presente invenção se refere ao uso de D-chiro-inositol no aperfeiçoamento de sensibilidade à insulina em indivíduos com tolerância a glicose anormal que não possuem diabetes do tipo 2. D-chiro-inositol e composição orais correlatas podem ser usados no tratamento de tolerância a glicose anormal e metabolismo e sensibilidade à insulina em mamíferos, e assim ajuda a prevenir a progressão para diabetes tipo 2 resistente a insulina.
