Abstract
"meio de cultivo e método para a identificação de microorganismos gram-negativos". a invenção consiste de um novo meio de cultivo e de um método para a identificação de microorganismos gram-negativos baseados na diferenciação destes através da ocorrência de pelo menos 10 cores diferentes das colônias, que podem ser regulares ou irregulares, e de halos de pelo menos 5 diferentes colorações e tamanhos. referido meio compreende uma mistura de componentes que propiciam a ocorrência de halos de cores e tamanhos distintos, constituída de terra silícica, leite desnatado, amidos e carvão ativado. o meio da invenção compreende adicionalmente uma mistura de bases nutritivas, substâncias que garantem a ocorrência de diferentes colorações nas colônias, substâncias que garantem a inibição dos microorganismos gram-positivos e substâncias que proporcionam a matriz sólida necessária para o crescimento e desenvolvimento das colônias.
