Abstract

"CONJUNTO DE PLACA DE ENCOSTO DE PASTILHA DE FREIO A DISCO". Conjunto de placa de encosto de pastilha de freio a disco, que inclui uma placa de encosto e uma mola de pastilha, a placa de encosto e/ou a mola de pastilha compreendendo um meio de retenção para a montagem da mola de pastilha na placa de encosto e confinamentos circunferencialmente espaçados dispostos de modo a se ser capaz de restringir um movimento lateral de porções de extremidade da mola de pastilha, a mola de pastilha sendo dimensionada em relação ao espaçamento dos confinamentos, de modo que um carregamento radialmente interno aplicado a uma porção central da mola faça com que a mola funcione em um primeiro modo tipo de mola de lâmina resiliente, no qual as porções de extremidade de mola de pastilha são irrestritas até um limite de carga predeterminado, e de modo que acima do limite de carga predeterminado, as porções de extremidade sejam restritas pelos confinamentos, de modo que a mola de pastilha funcione em um segundo modo de enfeixamento, a taxa de mola sendo relativamente baixa no primeiro modo e relativamente alta no segundo modo.
