Abstract
"MéTODO DE FABRICAçãO DE óXIDO DE ETILENO". é descrito um método de fabricação de óxido de etileno que usa um catalisador de epoxidação de alta seletividade. O método inclui a operação de um sistema de fabricação de óxido de etileno, que compreende um sistema reator de epoxidação, um sistema de recuperação de óxido de etileno, e um sistema de remoção de dióxido de carbono; que são operativamente conectados um ao outro, de modo a proporcionar a oxidação parcial do etileno com oxigênio, para produzir óxido de etileno e a recuperação do produto óxido de etileno. Para proporcionar uma baixa concentração de dióxido de carbono em uma alimentação de reator de epoxidação; uma proporção substancial de dióxido de carbono do sistema de recuperação de óxido de etileno, contendo produto gasoso a partir de pelo menos 30% a cerca de 100%, é alimentada ao sistema de remoção de dióxido de carbono que produz uma corrente de gás desprovida de dióxido de carbono.
