Abstract

"APARELHO E MéTODO PARA REMOVER REBARBAS TERMICAMENTE EM TUBOS ENCAMISADOS". Método e aparelho para remover rebarbas do interior de tubos metálicos encamisado expondo as rebarbas a uma chama de gás de alta intensidade que eficazmente oxida ou incinera as rebarbas sem induzir níveis de temperatura indesejáveis no metal principal do tubo encamisado. Isto é realizado usando um conjunto de suportes de tochas com múltiplos bocais de saída de gás dispostos radialmente em torno do perímetro circunferencial do suporte da tocha, tal que quando o suporte da tocha passa através do interior do tubo encamisado, as chamas são direcionadas para a superfície interna do tubo. O oxigênio auxiliar é introduzido nas saídas dos bocais tendo por resultado um grande aumento na velocidade e na intensidade da chama e, por sua vez, um aumento na temperatura da chama. O oxigênio auxiliar pode ser introduzido através das passagens anulares em torno dos bocais, de modo que o oxigênio auxiliar forme eficazmente uma cortina cilíndrica em torno da chama de cada bocal.
