"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA FACILITAR O DESENTRELAçAMENTO EFICIENTE E A COMBINAçãO EM DIVERSIDADE DE UM SINAL DE DADOS". Um processador (604) determina (502) uma métrica de canal de um sinal de dados recebido em um ramo de diversidade. O processador calcula (504) um índice dentro de uma memória provisória de métrica final (702), o índice determinado de uma posição da métrica de canal dentro de um quadro entrelaçado de dado. O processador coloca (506) um valor derivado da métrica de canal dentro da memória provisória de métrica final em uma localização definida pelo índice. Um método e aparelho correspondente bem como o receptor de comunicação que utiliza o processador (604) são descritos.
