Abstract

"ESPéCIES LEVEDURAS GENETICAMENTE MODIFICADAS E PROCESSOS DE FERMENTAçãO UTILIZANDO LEVEDURA GENETICAMENTE MODIFICADA". Células leveduras são transformadas com um gene xilose isomerase exógeno. Modificações genéticas adicionais acentuam a capacidade das células transformadas para fermentar xilose a etanol ou outros produtos de fermentação desejados.
