Abstract
"CONTROLE DE POTêNCIA E PROGRAMAçãO EM UM SISTEMA OFDM". Um sistema e método para controle de potência e programação de subportadoras em um sistema de comunicação OFDM. A faixa dinâmica do receptor pode ser minimizada mediante um loop de controle de potência que tenta manter a potência recebida em um valor mínimo de ruído em uma faixa predeterminada. Se a potência recebida em relação a um valor mínimo de ruído nas subportadoras alocadas exceder a faixa predeterminada e se a potência total recebida estiver no mínimo, o sistema de programação aloca uma subportadora adicional para o link de comunicação. Adicionalmente, se a potência recebida relativa ao piso de ruído for menor do que o mínimo da faixa predeterminada, e se a potência total recebida estiver em um máximo, o sistema de programação desaloca uma subportadora a partir do link de comunicação. O sistema de programação também pode ajustar uma taxa de codificação para manter uma taxa de símbolos relativamente constante em cada subportadora.
