Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO DE RUPTURA DE LIBERAçãO CONTROLADA COM UMA PASSAGEM PRé-FORMADA". A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo osmótico simples e aperfeiçoado capaz de prover a liberação controlada de um agente ativo contido no núcleo ao ambiente de uso, primeiro, através da passagem pré-formada e, depois, através da segunda passagem formando no lugar. Uma ou ambas as passagens incrementam opcionalmente seu tamanho durante o uso do dispositivo osmótico. A passagem pré-formada e/ou a segunda passagem incrementam a velocidade de liberação do agente ativo, permitem a liberação de partículas maiores que contém o agente ativo, e/ou permitem a liberação de agentes ativos que são substancialmente insolúveis no ambiente de uso. Em virtude da formação no lugar da segunda abertura, o dispositivo é capaz de liberar uma porcentagem superior de agente ativo do que liberaria na ausência da segunda abertura.
