Abstract
"FILMES ESTICáVEIS PARA EMBALAGENS". O presente invento se refere a um filme esticável para embalagens compreendendo uma mistura de polímeros compreendendo (percentagens em peso): I) de 50 a 90% de uma composição polimérica de etileno compreendendo uma unidade recorrente derivada de um éster escolhido dentre (1) ésteres orgânicos etilenicamente insaturados de ácidos monocarboxílicos C~ 3~-C~ 20~ insaturados e álcoois C~ 1~-C~ 24~ alifáticos ou alicíclicos monovalentes, e (2) ésteres vinilo de ácidos carboxílicos C~ 2~-C~ 18~ saturados, em que o teor de éster varia de 2,5 a 8% em peso com base no peso total da composição polimérica de etileno final; a composição polimérica de etileno tendo uma densidade variando de 0,92 a 0,94 g/mL; e II) de 10 a 50% de um componente polimérico baseado em etileno tendo uma densidade variando de 0,9 a 0,930 g/mL e uma taxa de fluxo de fundido de até 4 g/10 min.; o dito componente sendo escolhido dentre: i) um polietileno linear (i) consistindo de etileno e de 0,5 a 20% molar de uma <244>olefina CH~ 2~=CHR, em que R é um radical hidrocarboneto tendo de 2 a 8 átomos de carbono; e ii) uma mistura de polímeros compreendendo (a) de 80 a 100 partes em peso de um interpolímero estatístico de etileno com pelo menos uma <244>-olefina CH~ 2~=CHR, em que R é um radical hidrocarboneto tendo de 1 a 10 átomos de carbono, o dito polímero contendo até 20% molar de <244>-olefina CH~ 2~=CHR e tendo uma densidade entre 0,88 e 0,945 g/mL; e (b) de 5 a 30 partes em peso de um interpolímero estatístico de propileno com pelo menos uma <244>-olefina CH~ 2~=CHR, em que R é um radical hidrocarboneto tendo de 2 a 10 átomos de carbono, e possivelmente com etileno, dito interpolímero (b) contendo de 60 a 98% em peso de unidades derivadas de propileno, de 2 a 40% em peso de unidades recorrentes derivadas da <244>-olefina CH~ 2~=CHR, e de 0 a 10% em peso de unidades recorrentes derivadas de etileno, e tendo uma fração insolúvel em xileno à temperatura ambiente maior que 70%. O filme esticável para embalagens tem uma razão entre o valor da resistência ao rasgo MD e o valor da resistência ao rasgo TD acima de 0,3 e um valor de resistência sob tensão MD a 30% variando entre 6,5 e 15 N. O filme esticável é adequado para uso como embalagem auto-aderente em várias operações de embalagem e empacotamento.
