Abstract

"COMPOSTO DE TECIDO RESISTENTE A CHAMA ABERTA, COLCHõES RESISTENTES A CHAMA ABERTA, CONJUNTOS DE COLCHõES RESISTENTES A CHAMA ABERTA E PROCESSO PARA TORNAR UM COLCHãO à PROVA DE FOGO". A presente invenção refere-se a um composto de tecido para uso para tornar um colchão à prova de fogo, um conjunto de colchão à prova de fogo e um processo para tornar colchões à prova de fogo; em que o composto de tecido compreende, nesta ordem, (a) tecido forte externo de sacrifício, (b) material de acolchoamento de sacrifício e (c) tecido à prova de fogo, em que o tecido à prova de fogo é uma camada única de tecido não tecido que compreende pelo menos 17 gramas por metro quadrado de fibra de celulose que retém pelo menos 10% do seu peso de fibra quando aquecido em ar a 700<198>C sob velocidade de 20<198>C por minuto e pelo menos 17 gramas por metro quadrado de fibra resistente ao calor. Os conjuntos de colchões tornados à prova de fogo com este composto de tecido possuem taxa de liberação de calor de pico de menos de 150 quilowatts em trinta minutos, preferencialmente menos de 150 quilowatts em 60 minutos, e liberação total de calor de menos de 25 megajoules em dez minutos quando testado de acordo com o Boletim Técnico 603 do Estado da Califórnia.
