Abstract

TECIDO NãO-TRAMADO CELULóSICO RETARDADOR DE CHAMA. A presente invenção é dirigida a um tecido não-tramado retardador de chama hidroemaranhado, e, mais especificamente , a um tecido celulósico retardador de chama que compreende uma fibra auto-extinguível, de modo a minimizar a porcentagem total do peso do tecido perdido com a queima, de acordo com o Boletim Técnico 604. O uso de tecidos de fibras naturais em componentes de roupa de cama é desejável devido à maciez e à durabilidade associadas com os tecidos; contudo, uma fibra natural, tal como celulose, é altamente inflamável e, portanto, carece da capacidade de prover uma proteção adequada de inflamabilidade geralmente buscada nos componentes de roupa de cama. De acordo com a presente invenção, uma pequena quantidade de fibra auto-extinguível, tal como uma fibra modacrílica, foi misturada com fibra natural e hidroemaranhada para formar um tecido composto não-tramado que é macio ao toque, retardador de chama e adequado para roupa de cama.
