Abstract

"APARELHO E MéTODO PARA TRATAMENTO DE PRODUTOS ALIMENTìCIOS". A invenção relaciona-se com um aparelho para o tratamento de produtos alimentícios para processamento e subseqüente secagem. O aparelho compreende uma correia transportadora sem fim a qual ao longo de parte de sua extensão segue uma trajetória helicoidal para formar uma pilha, cuja trajetória helicoidal define um espaço central na pilha. A correia transportadora tem passagens para permitir um fluxo de um meio gasoso tanto verticalmente quanto horizontalmente através da pilha. Uma porção extrema da pilha é verticalmente circundada por um encapsulamento. O aparelho compreende um primeiro meio para fornecer um primeiro meio gasoso ao citado espaço central, e um segundo meio para fornecer um segundo meio gasoso para o encapsulamento. O encapsulamento é arranjado para direcionar o fluxo do segundo meio gasoso de tal maneira que ele seja passado verticalmente do citado encapsulamento para o resto da pilha. A invenção também se relaciona com um método para o tratamento de produtos alimentícios para processamento e subseqüente secagem.
