Abstract

"POLìMEROS DE ETILENO E, OPCIONALMENTE, éSTERES COPOLIMERIZáVEIS, FILMES UTILIZANDO ESSES POLìMEROS E PROCESSOS DE EMBALAGEM A VáCUO QUE UTILIZAM ESSES FILMES". A invenção refere-se a um polímero que compreende unidades derivadas de etileno, apresentando esse polímero: a) um índice de Fluidez de 0,05 a 20 g/10 min conforme determinado por ASTM-D 1238 Condição E; b) pelo menos 1O por 1.000 átomos de C de ramificações de cadeias curtas, contendo cinco átomos de carbono ou menos, conforme determinado por RMN de C13, e menos de 3,5% molar de unidades derivadas de um ester copolimerizável etilenicamente insaturado, c) uma massa específica de 0,90 a 0,94 g/cm¬ 3¬, preferencialmente de 0,91 a 0,935 g/cm¬ 3¬ , especialmente de 0,92 a 0,93 g/cm¬ 3¬, como determinado por ASTM D1505, e d) um tempo de relaxação conforme descrito aqui de pelo menos 10 s. Tais polímeros são obteníveis por polimerização via radicais livres usando um agente de transferência de cadeia que incorpora na cadeia polimérica olefinas tal como uma alfa-olefina, preferencialmente propileno, como agente de transferência de cadeia, preferencialmente em um reator tubular sob circunstâncias para favorecer formação de LCB em uma parte a jusante do reator tubular. O polímero poderá ser usado para filme de embalagem a vácuo, preferencialmente como um tubo co-extrusado em filme soprado que compreende: a) um núcleo do polímero acima; e b) uma camada pelicular, de cada lado do núcleo, que poderá ser de composição igual ou diferente, compreendendo pelo menos 60% em peso de um LLDPE que apresenta massa específica de 0,91 a 0,94 g/cm¬ 3¬ conforme determinado por ASTM-D 1238 Condição E e extraíveis de hexano menores que 1,5% em peso, contendo a camada pelicular menos de 7.500 ppm de particulados antiaderentes e apresentando o filme uma recuperação elástica após um estiramento de 100% de pelo menos 40% e proporcionando uma força de retenção normalizada por pré-estiramento de 100 <109>m de espessura a 85% de estiramento após um estiramento inicial de 100% de pelo menos 20 N/50 mm a uma taxa de deformação menor que 10% do comprimento de partida por segundo.
