Abstract

"APLICAçãO DE POLIPEPTìDEOS DA FAMìLIA CUPREDOXINA NA TERAPIA DO CáNCER". São revelados fatores citotóxicos tendo aplicação na modulação da morte celular, e sua aplicação em métodos para tratar condições relacionadas com necroses ou apoptose. A invenção também refere-se a métodos para identificar agentes ativos úteis para tratar condições relacionadas com morte celular ou crescimento descontrolado. Os inventores presentes descobriram que diferentes microorganismos produzem diferentes fatores citotóxicos tendo atividade anticancerígena. Os fatores citotóxicos essencialmente puros podem ser usados em um método para tratar uma doença infecciosa ou um câncer.
