Abstract

Cytotoksiske faktorer til anvendelse i modulering av celledød og deres anvendelse i fremgangsmåter til behandling av nekrose eller apoptose-relaterte tilstander er beskrevet. Oppfinnelsen angår også fremgangsmåter til identifisering av aktive midler som er nyttige til behandling av tilstander som er relatert til celledød eller ukontrollert vekst. Oppfinneme av foreliggende oppfinnelse har funnet at ulike mikroorganismer produserer ulike cytotoksiske faktorer som har anitcancer-aktivitet. De vesentlig rene cytotoksiske faktorene kan anvendes i en fremgangsmåte til behandling av en infeksjonssykdom eller kreft.
