"COMPOSTO ATIVADOR DE PPAR E COMPOSIçãO FARMACêUTICA CONTENDO O MESMO". é descrito um composto para ativar seletivamente PPAR<244> que é representado pela fórmula geral (1) abaixo: (em que R~ 1~ e R~ 2~ são iguais ou,diferentes e representam átomos de hidrogênio ou semelhante; R~ 3a~, R~ 3b~, R~ 4a~ e R~ 4b~ podem ser iguais ou diferentes e representam átomos de hidrogênio ou semelhantes; x representa um átomo de oxigênio ou semelhante; Y representa um átomo de oxigênio, S(O)~ 1~ (1 é um número de 0 a 2), um grupo carbonila, um grupo carbonilamino, um grupo aminocarbonila, um grupo sulfonilamino, um grupo aminosulfonila, ou NH; Z representa CH ou semelhante; n é um número de 1 a 6; e m é um número de 2 a 6) ou um sal seu.
