Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA MINIMIZAR O CONSUMO DE ENERGIA DURANTE A PRODUçãO DE TEREFTALATO DE POLIETILENO". Pode ser realizada uma economia de energia considerável por recuperação de calor de pelotas de PET quentes que saem de um reator de polimerização de estado sólido e utilização deste calor para aquecer as pelotas frias que entram no cristalizador ou no reator de polimerização de estado sólido. O calor pode ser transferido das pelotas quentes para as frias empregando-se um trocador de calor.
