Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA EVITAR A CORROSãO". A invenção refere-se a um processo para evitar a corrosão quando da separação de metilamina a partir uma corrente de produto contendo monometilamina, dimetilamina, trimetilamina amoníaco e metanol como componentes (10), que é produzida quando da preparação de metilaminas através da reação de metanol e amónia em que em uma primeira coluna (1) amónia é separada através de simples destilação, e em que os componentes de fundo da corrente de produto remanescentes são conduzidos a uma segunda coluna (2). Na segunda coluna (2), trimetil amina é separada através de uma destilação extrativa mediante adição de água. Os outros componentes da corrente de produto presentes como produto de fundo (15) da segunda coluna (s) são conduzidos a uma terceira coluna (3), na qual monometilamina e dimetilamina são separadas através do topo. A monometilamina e a dimetilamina são separadas em uma quarta coluna (4), através de destilação. Para evitar a corrosão, é adicionado hidróxido alcalino à segunda ou terceira coluna.
