"PROCESSO PARA A DESOXIDAçãO DE SUPERFìCIES METáLICAS, E, COMPOSIçãO AQUOSA, áCIDA PARA A DESOXIDAçãO DE SUPERFìCIES METáLICAS". é apresentado um método para a desoxidação de superfícies metálicas mediante o tratamento da superfície metálica com uma composição que compreende água, pelo menos um ácido, um alcoxilato de alquina, e outros aditivos opcionais. Em uma forma de realização preferida, o alcoxilato de alquina é usado junto de um agente complexante.
